DESMAN Contributes to IPI’s “A Guide to Parking”

Congratulations are due to DESMAN President, Steve Rebora (IL) and Patrick Wells (OH/PA), as they contributed two chapters in the new IPI "A Guide to Parking." This book is marketed as THE parking guide and is used as a text book around the world.

"The nation's leading experts have given us a virtual Encyclopedia of Parking that answers almost any question about parking anyone may have. Parking seems simple but it isn't. "A Guide to Parking" shows how good parking management can improve cities, the economy, and the environment." -Donald Shoup, Distinguished Research Professor of Urban Planning, UCLA.

Check out Steve's contribution of Chapter 10 "Architecture and Aesthetics" (pages 83-90) and Pat's contribution of Chapter 13 "Construction Parking" (pages 113-117).

This is quite the accomplishment; we are proud to have a presence in this issue of "A Guide to Parking."
