Description: This Chicago Landmark status office tower was built in 1921 and is located on Washington Street in Chicago. The forty-story structure basically consists of an iron superstructure with a glazed terra cotta masonry façade. Desman was retained to visually inspect and evaluate the terra cotta façade and develop a repair program for the managing agent. Minor damage and deterioration was observed to the façade along with some cracked units identified along the parapet portions of the structure.

DESMAN provided restoration services on this 6 Level structure. The structure consists of cast-in-place conventionally reinforced concrete floor slabs supported by cast-in-place conventionally reinforced concrete beams and columns.
